Summary
Aim of this project is to develop modular system for remote gathering of visual metric 3D data in the places dengerous or unaccessible to people. The main accent will be on real time processing, but off-line detail 3D interpretation of image datagathered using professional digital photogrammetry workstation with ERDAS Imagine software package will be also possible. Proposed system is based on proved solutions from variety of fields like GPS, GIS, digital image gathering and data transfer, mobileplatform s (both surface and flying) which are extended by research in new areas, like digital fotogrammetry based on small frame digital nonmetric cameras. This part will be one of the main outputs of this project. Modular system will permit to choosfrom variety of modules to assemble taylor made solution which the best fit to user requirements.
